Pocket System Manager Suite

Introduction

Pocket System Manager Suite is a bundle of frequently used packages which requires no additional learning from common windows based Desktop users to use the Pocket PC.  These packages have a look and feel similar to that of a regular desktop.  The suite consists of the Task, File, Registry and Network Managers. The Task Manager showing the Applications, Processes and Performance. The tabs and its content are the same as that of  a normal desktop. The File and Registry Managers have the same view (adjustable tree and list views) as a desktop with most of the same features. The fearures include viewing and changing File Properties, Recycle bin and Backup and the restore of the registry content.  Each of the packages and the features available are explained in detail.

Description

The Pocket System Manager Suite provides information about applications and processes running on a Pocket PC. It also displays the most commonly used performance measures for processes. You can use the System Manager to view what applications are running, switch to or end applications and start new ones. Additionally, it shows graphs and data regarding the PPC’s CPU and memory usage. The System Manager consists of a Task Manager, File Manager, Registry Manager and a Network Manager. It shows the applications, processes and performance tabs like those on a regular desktop. The File and Registry Managers allow the user to view and change file properties, access the recycle bin and to backup and restore the registry content. The task manager allows the user to view, stop and start processes. The network manager allows the user to manage data flow to the network and control wireless, 3g and GPRS networks.
